The Old Dominion Boat Club rents its Ballroom (max capacity of 150-175 people. NOTE: furnishings may reduce the max capacity), which includes the attached Deck.
The President's Room (max 17 people): is available for Rentals, Monday - Friday, normally11 AM - 2 PM. The group must order food & beverages from the club menu.
We offer full Bar service and professional catering services to Renters for occasions like birthdays, engagements, cocktail parties, wedding receptions, anniversaries, retirement parties, fundraisers, business meetings, etc.
Outside catering is authorized on a selective basis.
All alcohol must be purchased through the ODBCs ABC License and served by our Bartenders.
All food & non- alcoholic beverages must be purchased through the ODBC. Exceptions, such as speciality pastries may be made.
Our Tap Room or Roof Top Deck are not available as a rental.
Our Parking Plaza is for member's vehicles only, at all times. Temporary unloading/loading is authorized.
On a limited basis, Non-Members may rent with member sponsorship.
Weekend daytime and all evening rental time periods after 5p are for four (4) hours. (no cost for your room prep with decorations and removal). Event period costs beyond 4hrs (in one hour increments) are additional.
Non-weekend daytime rental time periods before 5p are flexible.Rentals with Children: Rentals with children may be held on Club premises for children under 21 years of age, only if; no more than 40 children and at least .25 adult chaperones per child attend the event. (Example 40 children x .25 chaperones = 10 adult chaperones) In addition, two Club facilitators must be present at the event if more than 20 children. An adult to access or egress the facility must accompany all children of members or guests.
We offer full Catering service to meet all of your needs. Click link below to view our sample catering menu which can be adjusted for your event. These are guidelines and we are open to any other special food requests.

The Board of Governors approves all rentals.

Non-member inquiries should be made directly with the Rental Manager. Please provide a telephone number and the following information when inquiring:
Name of Party/organization hosting the event:
Purpose of event: example - a reception, a wedding, a holiday party, a fundraiser etc.
Date of event:
Time of event (normally a 4 hr block if after 5p) example - 6p to 10p
Approx number of Guests:
Style of event: example - sit down dinner (only for under 50 guests), appetizers, buffet food etc.
Entertainment type: example - DJ, Band etc.
