11TH ANNUAL POWER BOAT POKER RUN
Are you ready to run? Poker Run that is! Join the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Old Dominion Boat Club for the 11th Annual Leukemia Cup Poker Run in Alexandria, Virginia.
There are two events this year, on Saturday, August 26, 2017, with fun for all ages!
Powerboat Poker Run: Visit 5 stops along the Potomac, picking up a playing card at each location. Make your way back to the Old Dominion Boat Club within the time limit and the best poker hand wins a prize! Registration is $150, but prizes are also given to our top fundraising teams!
Landlubber Peg Leg Scavenger Hunt: No boat? No worries. Get your kids involved with a scavenger hunt for “buried treasure.” Registration is $40 per family, but children are encouraged to fundraise through the summer. It’s a great way for your kids to get involved and learn the importance of giving back. Event is for children 14 and under.
All participants are welcome to return to the Old Dominion Boat Club following the completion of their events for an afternoon party with food, live music, raffles, and more! No need to be a boater to come to the party!
Last Year’s Tenth Annual Leukemia Cup Power Boat Poker Run raised over $8000 to help fight blood cancers, and you can help exceed that goal this year by participating, sponsoring, or donating to this fun event.
